Officially incorporated in 1952 in Nablus, Palestine, Anwar Kanaan Co. was a leading soap manufacturer for many years. Their production had lapsed in recent decades, but with the help of the Palestinian Soap Cooperative, they have been able to reopen, and now Tiger Brand soap is available again. Still made in the original factory and by the original family “The Tiger” is a beautiful example of small-batch craftsmanship.
