If you have an existing receiver wire, you can remove the dome from the end of the receiver speaker and beneath, you should see some letters, a number and a colour. The letters correlate to the power/strength, the number correlates to the size and the colour correlates to which ear (red for right ear, blue for left ear). Your hearing care professional will assess your hearing needs and recommend the appropriate SureFit Receiver size based on your specific hearing loss profile and the type of ReSound hearing aid you are using. Can I replace the SureFit 2C Receivers myself, or do I need to visit my hearing care professional? While it is possible to replace SureFit 2C Receivers at home, it is recommended to have this done by a qualified hearing care professional to ensure proper installation and compatibility with your ReSound hearing aids. Are SureFit 2C Receivers compatible with all ReSound hearing aid models? SureFit Receivers are designed to be compatible with most ReSound hearing aid models. See our compatibility section above. However, it’s always best to check with your hearing care professional or refer to the product specifications to ensure compatibility with your specific device. How to identify which receiver you require: Ear Side: For the Left ear, the writing on your receiver will be Blue. For the Right ear, the writing on your receiver will be Red. Power and Size: Sizes Available: 0, 1, 2 ,3, 4. Powers Available: ‘Low’ (LP) ‘Medium’ (MP) and ‘High’ (HP). If you remove the dome from your current receiver, where this usually sits will be a number and some letters on one side of the receiver body, for example ‘2MP C’.
