Celosia Crested Mix Seed are simple to grow and will easily live in many different conditions. These flowers bloom in a multitude of colors and can grow up to 3 ft. high. The heads of the flowers can reach up to a foot in diameter with smaller blooms along side them. They have a likeness similar to cauliflower. Prepare the soil by turning or tilling, and plant the seeds sparingly 1/4 inch deep and around ten inches apart. When the plants are 2-3 inches high they are ready for transplanting into the garden or open space. They should be at least 10 inches apart. For optimal results ensure they are planted in direct sunlight with a well-drained soil, or as an alternative, enriched soil containing compost. They tend to be heat and drought tolerant. When the weather is cool they tend to bloom earlier, therefore, they are known as annuals, growing regardless of the weather conditions.
