Collard greens are like a loose leaf cabbage that doesn’t form a head. This variety was popular in Victorian times for its non hearting crops of long, wavy leaves. Expect a bumper crop of long, dark green leaves with a mild flavour. With a nearly year long cropping period, a second sowing is an option in autumn. Delicious steamed or in soups and also ideal for making Chinese crispy seaweed! Heat and cold tolerant allowing nearly year round growing.
