Chilli Pepper Machu Picchu is a modern heirloom that originates from Peru and has distinctive elongated pods which mature from dark green to a rich chestnut brown colour. Pods can grow up to 10cm long and have a medium hot, smokey and fruity flavour that’s wonderful in Mexican or Indian cooking. Tender perennial, will require protection in winter or treat as an annual.
