An old favourite heirloom, exclusive to She Grows Veg in the UK, this is one of the oldest types of squash dating back to pre-Columbus times, and it has been popular ever since. Its bulbous bottom, swan neck and nobbly skin make it very striking and refreshingly different from your average courgette! This is a prolific grower and can be grown vertically over an arch. Easy to grow and delicious cooked in soups or roasted. We also love this one in cut into beautiful discs and grilled on the BBQ during the summer.
