Description AstrHori A27C Overview The AH-MGA170 Macro Focusing Rail Slider from AstrHori can be used together with a macro lens to achieve high-definition images. It has an integrated micrometer mechanism for precisely fine-tuning camera position. The micrometer adjustment knob provides 0.05mm movement per rotation. The main adjustment knob provides a 2mm movement per rotation for rapid positioning. The mechanism has dampening to prevent camera movement when it is angled or in vertical orientation. It is an ideal tool for taking photos with different focus points and for focus stacking applications. The AH-MGA170 features an Arca-type quick release set. It has an Arca-type dovetail on the base of the rail for direct mounting to a tripod head. The dovetail also allows a second, separately available AH-MGA170 rail to be mounted on top for precision movement across two axes.
